How high and how low does the bed raise and lower measured from the floor to the top of the bed frame, not including the mattress

Thank you for your inquiry.  This bed adjusts from 8 to 18 inches from the floor to the top of the bed frame.  The mattress (depending on the type selected) will add another 5-7 inches on top of that.  We have another full electric bed package for $859 which goes up to 24 inches height from floor to top of bed frame.  If you would like for us to provide you with a quote including shipping, please let us know and we will be happy to as assist you.

These are Tower Medical brand and connect via the C-clamp onto an accessory rail mounted to the table.

As we discussed by phone, there is no 501K number for this item.  This is manufactured by Dynarex and it is FDA cleared.

Hi - my husband has bad knees, recently had foot surgery. Hes a big guy - 310 pounds. He 'walks' in the chair to get around. Question: The transport chairs seem like they'd be easier for him to navigate with, easier to go down halls and around corners. Yes Could he set the brake? Thanks. Sue

This type of transport chair can definitely be used for the purpose you require, however, the brakes are not accessible to the user of the chair, generally these would only be accessible from behind by the person who is "operating" the chair.

If you would like something that he can operate the brakes by himself, we would recommend a standard wheelchair with full-size wheels.

These units have been manufactured for greater than 8 years and many originals are still on the market are in good working condition.

It is recommended to have annualized checkups and routine maintenance according to the findings of the checkups.

These machines may last as many as 10+ years if maintained properly.
