Good Morning, we are looking for optons for treating soem clients who weigh 250Kg and issue is accessing stomach for wound care, at present it requires 4 nurses to hold stomach up to access wound to treat, what optiosn woudl you have to assist us

It seems as though you may need some type of table with a pelvic tilt or even a tilting table.  At this time we do not currently have a product in our inventory meeting your minimum weight capacity. 

The table you've noted may be a viable option as this allows the patient to be completely flat in the supine position and the abdomen may be more easily moved.

How accurate is a mechanical scale compared to a digital electronic scale

Answer

Digital scales may be more accurate as once the read-out has displayed the weight, the reading is visible.

With mechanical scales, any slight movement may jar the balance and skew the reading.  Also the reading may not be a true reading as once the balance "looks" to be level, the person reading the measurement will record the weight without the balance being completely finished leveling therefore not providing the truest/most accurate reading.

At this time, the Flexiflo pump and its bags have been discontinued for sale in the USA.  We are currently working on obtaining information on alternates.

On the back of this unit, there is a connection location for connection of a scaler into the water system.

Both the 10 and 13in units taper to 6in at the narrowest part in the front of the brace.

The glide carrier (plastic part only excluding hook) has a 3/4in diameter at its fullest point and is 3/4in long.  Including the hook, the overall length of the glide carrier is 2-1/4in.

Each walker weighs about 7 pounds.  If the user is of reasonable strength and can manage walking a short distance with a cane and lifting the 7 pound walker into her trunk, this should not be a problem.
