We have ordered your 58x102 flat bed sheets for extended daily use on our 93 yr old aunt's bed. She has had incontinent accidents once every 1 - 2 weeks. How long can these sheets remain on her bed? We have had quite an interest in your product but don't know the answer to this question. Beantown also provides a disposable sheet-can be left on for 2 weeks. Pls reply asap. Thank you.

Thank you for your inquiry.  The efficacy of UV-C technology depends on the energy absorbency threshold level of a particular pathogen.  In other words, all microorganisms have a specific amount of UV-C energy which they can absorb before they are rendered de-nurtured (unable to replicate).  The time that it takes to absorb that energy depends on the potency of the light and the proximity to the object.  Porosity of the surface is also a major contributing factor.   So, to answer your question, if the light is held long enough and close enough than it would de-nurture c-diff bacteria.
