hello doc,i am a 54 year old female .i am suffering through a very unique problem .the problem is that some sticky colourless liquid erupts under my throat which makes me breathe difficult .it is so horrible that i can not drink neither eat at times.furhter there is a para nasal discharge of sinositus . i have been taking nebuliser s but it fails to effect . and the sticky liquid is getting sticker .please advice what that liqiuid is and what should i do, i have been taking cough syrups but has no effect ,further when i apply vaporub(vicks) on the throat i get ome reply and i can discharge some amount of sticky liquid from my mouth which makes me feel a bit easier to breathe. i habve also been taking steam i would be thankful if u reply to me on this email

Gentlemen;I own an Airsep Lifestyle portable oxygen concentrator. It was bought, under prescription, from a local home health care company. I would be happy to provide proof of purchase if needed. Since I have been diagnosed with Sleep Apnea, I no longer need this unit. I only use oxygen at night with my BIPAP. I no longer need Oxygen during the daytime. The machine has 85 hours on the hour meter and is in excellent condition. Would you be so kind as to advise me of anyone who might help me to sell this unit. I would be happy to sell it outright or to consign it to a reputable firm. My group members and I are working on our Senior Capstone project which involves designing and implementing a system to transmitting a patient’s pulse rate wireless to a computer monitor. We are interested in using item# SYDMDC, but we were not sure if it will work for our purposes. We need to know what type of signal is generated from your product and also how the product works, the length of the wires used to connect the sensor and if there is anything else connected to the sensor. What hand do you put a cane in when walking. I have a bad right hip and have started using a cane. I put it in my left hand as it feels the best for balance is that correct? Give a reason for putting it in the hand you suggest, please....thank you.

If your voice box is removed ... say as a result of throat cancer. What is the device you can hold with your hand on the adams apple that can emulate your voice. It sounds like a robot voice.

An electropharynx, or electronic larynx, is a battery operated machine that produces sound for you.  There are many different makes and types of these, but they are usually about the size of a small electric razor.  You hold the machine against your neck, or fit a small tube into the corner of your mouth .  When you press the button on the machine, it makes sound.  If you move your tongue and mouth you can form the sounds into words.

As with oesophageal speech, you need training from a speech therapist and plenty of practice, to master this method.  The speech does have a mechanical sound to it but most people are pleased with the result.  Some of the machines available have buttons that can vary the pitch or tone of the sound the electronic larynx makes.  This will make your voice sound more varied.
