Question
I notice that large retail outlets (e.g. Wal-Mart, Target) don't sell canes, walkers, etc. Is there a reason for this?
Answer
Dear Aja:
We have heard of the rumors that Wal-Mart was planning to offer some medical equipment and supplies. However, we are not sure if they are actually going forward with it. Perhaps, these organizations are not yet set-up to deal with Medicare requirements or due to liability issues or perhaps these products take up a lot of retail space.
