I'm doing some research into the price for "used" surgical instruments. Is there a market for used instruments? If so, any "rules of thumb" or pricing advice you might give for cardiology instruments that are 1 - 2 years old? Thanks very much.

We do not deal with used surgical instruments, but there are plenty of people that do.  You may wish to continue your search on the internet.  As far as a rule of thumb, 1) you get what you pay for, 2) request limited warranty ussually 3-6 months on the instruments you purchase.

It is hard to tell exactly what the labcoats will look like from the pictures. I am looking for a labcoat similar to those worn by the doctors on the tv series, "House MD": one upper pocket, two lower pockets, two vents for accessing pant pockets, a belt as well as button closure, and a slightly contoured waist fit. I have diabeties and am on my feet for long periods of time outdoors. I need assistance in finding a lightweight pair of waterproof/gore-tex type boots. Since these will be worn with a uniform they must be black. These can be either 6 inch or 8 inch boots. Do you have any suggestion?

My 67 yr old mother has been dx with copd. In the hospital she was given breating treatments with albuterol med. She has shortness of breath and coughing with a loose rattle, she does not have a productive cough. After her 6 wk check up her dr refused to give her the neblizer for treatments. Does a person dx with COPD/emphysema not need to take breating treatments only if they are sick? Wouldn't these treatments periodically help her in the long run to have better quality of life.
