Question
Is there a device to keep the leg rests with a wheelchair when the leg rests are not in use? For example, I have patients who can propel the wheelchair with their legs but at times need the leg rests applied before a staff member can assist them. We've tried a bag on the back of the chair but it seems to protrude into a patient's back side. Thank you.

Answer

Dear Monica,

Thank you for the inquiry.  I do apologize but we only have the bag that attaches to the back of the wheelchair.  Sorry for the inconvenience.

Question
Can you hand-wash 100% Polypropylene garments?Thanks.

Answer
Polypropylene items are generally made to be liquid retardent.  They may also not be durable enough even for hand washing.  The best course of acton is to soak them or spay wash them and let them air dry.

Question
We've had a couple of fires recently that were started near electric wheelchairs. How best to prevent such fires, such as keep them away from so forth and so on.

Answer

Dear Tom Marshall,

Thank you for the inquiry.  I am unclear to what you are asking, but I think what you might be getting at is the motor overheating?  If so, always check the weight capacity and avoid excessive usage of the wheelchair within a short time frame.

Question
when i turn my machine on and set the pulse rate the screen goes blank and the power lite is on but the machine is still on is there any explanition you can give me for this

Answer

Dear Tony,

Thank you for the inquiry. Sounds like you needs a Date / Time battery in the unit. It is a 3V lithium battery. If this does not fix the problem you will have to send it in for service. Could be the piggy back Spo2 board in the unit, the board has come loose from the mating mother board, which is a common problem.

Respectfully,
