1. Each leg of the track is 24in (total of 48in)
2. Yes, all of our orders include connectors for the smooth transition.
3. Glide carriers: Verticle, bobbin style carrier & Roller carriers: Horizontal, wheeled carrier.

We recommend the roller vs the glide carriers a bit more durable and provides more of a smooth transition.

This Foam Mattress is designed to work with most hospital beds and should not pose a problem working with an older bed.  It is a hospital mattress designed to conform to all positions a hospital bed will use.

Thank you for the inquiry.  This low bed with the mattress has an overall height of 13 inches from the ground.  The switch is is extremely user friendly and the buttons are easy to see.  There are different buttons for the head and the knee.  We sell to the general public.
