Thank you for your inquiry.  This stainless steel hydrotherapy designed for use as a part of rehabilitation or training program along with treatment of inflamed joints and muscles.  Although it can be used with hot water, it is more often used for cooling baths and icing.  There is no insulation and water temperature is maintained through the addition of ice or cool water.  Hot water can be pipped in through a standard faucet.
