The device measures the flow rate of air (in cubic centimeters per second) you can push through your lungs.  It is not about resistance built into the device, but rather how quickly and how much air you can expel through your lungs.  With practice you will be able to expand your lungs to hold more air as well as to enable your lungs to force the air out with greater force.

Xeroform gauze is good for packing the wound, works for mechanical debridement and has good absorptive capacity.

What is the difference between Star Lumen tubing and standard tubing? I note the Star Lumen is more expensive. I suspect my wife is using standard tubing . . . but it is much more costly at our local medical supply store than what you are quoting.

 We are not aware of any significant difference between Star Lument and standard tubing.  Retail prices will typically be higher then online advertised prices.

For the Fine Iris Surgical Scissors, the SH/BL is an indication of the blade tip, one is SHarp and one is BLunt.
