Isolyser LTS-PLUS: Isolyser LTS-PLUS is an EPA registered product for the treatment of liquid medical waste that allows disposal directly to a landfill as "white bag" waste. When I entered the strip name it came up with a item but when I look at the picture it is for a different strip. Is there an alternative name for accucheck instant glucose strips?

As discussed on the telephone, this item has actually been discontinued by the manufacturer, and we do not currently have any alternates.  Accu-Chek test strips should work with any Accu-Check monitor without error.

Diathermy increases white blood cell concentration in the area of chronic inflammation (possibly via increased vascular supply).

Shortwave Diathermy Benefits

The use of short wave diathermy might be beneficial in such musculoskeletal conditions (in subacute or chronic state) such as arthritis and bursitis, musculoskeletal pain/spasm, sprains/strains and tendonitis.

1. Metal implants
2. Pregnancy
3. Malignancy
4. Pacemaker
5. Ischemia or atherosclerosis
6. Active bleeding
7. Open wounds, skin lesions in treatment area
8. Acute infection/fever

We are able to accept returns, however there is a minimum 20% restocking fee on this item if it is returned.  Original shipping is non-refundable and return shipping is your responsibility.  This must be returned within 30 days from the date of shipment otherwise it will not be accepted.  We do have other items with lesser restocking fees, as little as 10%.

Would this be appropriate for a person with Parkinsons Disease - to use as walking aid Is it tip-proof? It looks difficult to tip right or left, but can it tip forward or tip backward? Looking for way to get a Parkinson's patient in nursing home walking more independently.

Thank you for your inquiry.  This is a tip-proof walker designed more to prevent lateral tipping (side-to-side).  However, the elongated profile of the wheelchair and the low center of gravity makes it also more difficult, but not impossible to tip forward or backwards, but the effort would have to be delibarate.
