I wore a post op shoe from my Dr for a week for a 3rd metatarsal stress fracture and now I have heel pain. I dont wan to wear it anymore. Is there a post op shoe with arch support built in or has a soft sole with a rigid platform

This is one of the better options as it does have the rigid walking sole, however has a padded inner for more patient comfort, unfortunately, we do not have any post-op shoes with built-in arch support.

I''ve heard recentlymaybe incorrectly that heat is no longer validated as a recovery tool for sports injuries. Also, are the high pressure water jets the oval stainless steel tubs still used for recoveries? I remember in high school how one used on my foot made it tingle for a couple of hours and completely healed my soccer injury. Hope this helps.

Thank you for your inquiry.  Unfortunately, we are not aware of any recent recommendations of cold vs hot whirlpool therapy.  From experience, we can tell you that both methods are acceptable and beneficial.  Sore muscles and joints, for example, are best treated with hot water therapy. Pulled muscles, on the other hand, are best treated with cold water for up to 48 hours.
