Is it good pratice to pour water inside of the Silent Knight Pill Crusher Plastic pouches to ensure a complete dose is given for Enteral Tube residents Are there any cross contamination concerns?

Unfortunately, this is not a practice we are familiar with and cannot recommend it; however, it does seem that a small amount of fluid mixed with the crushed medication would allow for complete delivery of medication to the patient.

We are looking for a knee length gown that snaps for full coverage. We are providing thermography services and our patients have to undress and put a gown on to acclimate to the temperature. The patient will be going over protocols with the technician.

These gowns would be suitable, however they do not have the snap function.  Our disposable gowns only offer tie at waist (and some at neck).
