La "Unidad de TENS digital" es una estimulación nerviosa eléctrica transcutánea (TENS, siglas) es el uso de corriente eléctrica producida por un dispositivo para estimular los nervios con fines terapéuticos.

Una receta médica es necesaria para esta unidad. Usted puede enviar por fax su receta médica a 713-706-4161.

Dependiendo de su situación, su doctor le recomendará durante cuánto tiempo este tratamiento se debe utilizar.

Las siguientes son algunas instrucciones básicas:

• Limpie la piel, donde los electrodos se colocan con alcohol. A continuación, secar la piel.

• Coloque una capa delgada de gel en la parte inferior de cada electrodo. Este gel ayuda a transmitir la señal eléctrica de los nervios bajo la piel.

• Coloque los electrodos en su piel y la cinta de uso o un parche autoadhesivo para cubrir el electrodo. Esto mantiene el electrodo firmemente pegada a la piel. Tener un miembro de la familia ayuda si no puede llegar a la zona donde los electrodos se van a colocar.

The sizing is to be measured at the waist, where you naturally wear pants.  The garment looks to be worn at about hip-level, so this may be the measurement required.  This is the measuring guide from the manufacturer:

Small: 24 Inches - 32 Inches
Medium: 28 Inches - 38 Inches
Large: 36 Inches - 45 Inches
X-Large: 43 Inches - 54 Inches
